The third of four children born in Oxfordshire, England in 1959, Tim came to the United States in 1982 after completeing a degree in Commercial Horticulture. He settled in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York where he raised two boys, Simon and Jesse. Simon is a very successful photographer now living in New Jersey and Jesse is at college studying Criminal Justice. Tim designed and built a custom home in Lansing, NY in 1989 where he still lives. Tim's fiancee, Karen helps collect and select the items that are used in the sculptures and has been a big supporter of the venture. With a love of the outdoors, wood working and construction, these things have been a part of his life for a number of years. The idea of making driftwood into sculptures came from producing presents for his family with items collected from the shores of Cayuga Lake one Christmas. Enjoying woring with his hands and always on the lookout for unique itmes and designs, Tim has used his imagination and artistic abilities to come up with some truly one of a kind items for all to enjoy. His other activities include his lifelong passion for numerous sports, especially running and athletics. They keep him fit, active and competing in the Veteran's divisions of both local and other races. cbr>
